Q&A

I am very concerned about myocardial infarction. What should I be aware of?

Myocardial infarction refers to the situation when the coronary artery supplying blood to the heart is suddenly blocked, resulting in insufficient blood perfusion, and causes myocardial ischemia. You can find out if there is a narrow cardiovascular vessel.

(1) Cardiovascular CT scan

(2) Report cardiac calcification index

(3) Exercise ECG

I often feel chest tightness. What kinds of tests should be done?

Common reasons that cause chest tightness may include angina, chest tightness, heart valve disease, gastroesophageal reflux, lung disease and dysautonomia. Check ups to consider include: Exercise ECG, heart and lung computed tomography, endoscopic examination and echocardiography.

Does the heart CT scan require an enhancement injection?Does it cause any harm to the body?

Normal people rarely have adverse reactions to the enhancement injection. A very small portion of people will have an allergic reaction. Since the enhancement is processed by the renal metabolism, the physical examination center will check the patient's kidney function. If the patient's kidneys do not function well, the enhancement would not be recommended.
